Original Race Equipment was born at the race track. It was founded by Dan Lind and Jeff Blakemore, who like many before them were gearing up for their respective children’s rookie karting season.
Both had ‘invested’ in lots of kit for Red (Dan’s son) and Riley’s (Jeff’s son) upcoming race season and one of the more expensive items they’d both purchased were the GPS data lap timer/data logger, and both Dan and Jeff were struck with the fact that after a short time scouring the internet neither of them could find a proper protective cover for the said kit. So after several conversations and a bit of head scratching at the track, they decided to do something about it.
